Forty Years of Faith
with St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church
September 5, 1980, the first Mass within the parish boundaries was celebrated in a chapel, converted from the garage of the newly-purchased rectory on Trails. Attendance continued to grow, and on October 18, 1981, groundbreaking for a new church building took place at 950 Trails Parkway. Construction was concluded in August, and on the seventh day of that month, the church was dedicated to the glory of God and for the people of St. Michael's parish.
Another important moment in the life of the parish came on August 14, 1988, when ground was broken for a new parish hall. Although construction of the new building caused significant disruption, there was only joy when, on October 1, 1989, the new parish hall was dedicated for use.St. Michael's Church has been blessed with priests who have led us in our spiritual journey in becoming close to Christ.
